Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Project Manager in Morrisville, NC to oversee all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery and satisfied clients. You will integrate technology into delivery to support growth for the Xylem Vue division, with a focus on planning, budgeting, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year university with a major in engineering, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree and 3 years project management experience, or post-graduate degree in engineering is required.
• Must be proficient with computer hardware and software (Microsoft, Smartsheet, Atlassian)
• Must have familiarity with simulation and/or optimization modeling software (EPA-SWMM or similar) and geospatial data management software (ESRI or similar)
• Must have familiarity with data architecture and UI/UX projects such as SCADA or cloud based platform deployments that combine hardware and software technologies.

Responsibilities

• Author project plans, charters, SOWs, WBS, risk plans, quality plans, and test plans.
• Manage project changes, contract management, and drive internal stakeholders for deliverables.
• Perform monthly budget reconciliations and track expenses/invoicing.
• Understand Xylem digital technologies and present concepts to utility managers.
• Architect and deliver solutions via collaboration with senior managers, account executives, solution managers, and product management.
• Provide technical scope and costing for proposals.
