Job summary

The role involves coaching staff, developing trainings, and ensuring quality treatment plan implementation. The position requires strong documentation, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to agency policies, state and contract requirements, including crisis management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Human Services or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience childcare institution.
• Experience working with school, court, behavioral health, and child welfare partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
• Flexible schedule to meet agency needs.
• Proficiency with MS Office and electronic case management systems.

Responsibilities

• De-escalation and crisis management across campus.
• Primary decision maker on campus for immediate needs.
• Ensure all documentation and paperwork is completed according to policy.
• Support and model Sanctuary commitments.
• Assure medications are distributed in accordance with policies.
• Model trauma-responsive and strength-based interventions for Youth Development Specialists.
• Ensure all restraints are performed per policy and state requirements.
• Attend supervisor meetings and address youth grievances promptly.
• Provide program leadership in afternoons/evenings and weekends.
• Foster a culture of exceptional client care meeting standards.
