Job summary

Dallas College in Texas seeks a Health Promotion Coordinator to lead a campus-wide wellness program. You will be a subject matter expert on health topics and collaborate with Health Services, Student Care Network, and community partners to deliver integrated care and education for students.

You will design, implement, and evaluate health promotion activities, training Peer Educators, and leveraging technology to reach students.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Health Education, Health Promotion, Public Health, Behavioral Health, or related field.
• Official transcripts required.
• Three (3) years of related experience.
• Current and valid Texas driver’s license required.
• Ability to work extended hours during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate health promotion initiatives for the campus community.
• Utilize technology platforms to support health promotion initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and oversee student Peer Educators.
• Work with the Student Care Network and other campus departments to grow the peer educator model.
• Ensure staff and programs collaborate with other Dallas College areas.
