Job summary

Texas State University seeks a Program Director for Health & Well-Being to coordinate system-wide health initiatives, align them with institutional goals, and advance student success. The role oversees Health Promotions Services and collaborates with campus/community partners.

The Director will drive data-informed decisions, manage priorities, and participate in emergency and strategic projects to promote campus wellbeing and safety.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public health, health promotion, healtheducation, higher education, student affairs, or closely related field.
• Experience in health promotion, public health, student affairs, well-being initiatives, or related field.
• Experience in strategic planning, program development, implementation, and assessment.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to analyze data and assessment results to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required, including on-call responsibilities during high-visibility events or urgent situations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate division-wide health and well-being efforts to advance student success.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate university-wide health initiatives aligned with goals.
• Oversee Health Promotions Services office and related teams.
• Represent the AVP on leadership groups and partner with campus/community stakeholders.
