Job summary

Sodexo USA is seeking a Utility Worker at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, responsible for various cleaning and maintenance tasks. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and knowledge of sanitation procedures. Qualifications

  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes by hand or place them in a dishwashing machine.
  • Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
  • Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
  • Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
  • Clean equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels and cleaning materials.
  • Perform significant walking and other mobility tasks.
  • Walk or stand for extended periods of time, often exceeding 8 hours.
  • Reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.
  • Attend work and show up on time for scheduled shifts with satisfactory regularity.

Pay Range

$18.75 per hour

Responsibilities
