Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker at Graceland University. You will support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout food production and service areas, including dishwashing, sanitation, and quick set-up tasks.

This role offers varied shifts, open availability preferred, and a broad benefits package. A High School diploma is required; no prior experience is necessary, and you will join a team dedicated to safe food handling and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums floors.
• Removes trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using chemicals to maintain sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Walk or stand for extended periods, potentially beyond 8 hours.
• Lift up to 35 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned per client requirements.
