Sodexo is seeking a Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations at Weber State University with emphasis on cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across production and service areas.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic food safety concepts.
• High School diploma or GED required; no related work experience needed.
• Exposure to kitchen/environment sanitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes work tables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans, and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment with designated sanitation chemicals.
• Restocks supplies such as soap and towels.
• Walks or stands for extended periods and may move 35–50 lbs.
• Supports with setup and breakdown as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs.
