Job summary

Syracuse University is seeking a Temporary Talent Acquisition Manager to support the Talent Management team within the Office of Human Resources. This on-campus role focuses on full life-cycle recruitment for faculty, staff, and bargaining unit candidates, with sourcing, screening, and onboarding support for a 3-6 month period, potential for future full-time opportunities.

The TAM will lead outreach, improve time-to-hire, and partner with hiring authorities to build diverse candidate slates

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, marketing, business, communications, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience within a fast-paced organization.
• Superior ability to influence and persuade internal stakeholders and external candidates.

Responsibilities

• Manage full life-cycle recruitment for assigned vacancies and source candidates.
• Screen candidates, conduct interviews, extend offers, and support onboarding processes.
• Maintain and report recruitment data analytics; support outreach and events.
• Collaborate with campus partners to ensure equity and inclusive hiring across all searches.
