Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. is seeking a Campus Talent Acquisition Advisor to lead early career recruitment at its Americas Headquarters in Greenville, NC. You will coordinate campus engagements, internships and rotations, and partner with stakeholders to attract top talent while building the company’s employer brand.

The role requires developing campus relationships, traveling up to 40% to campuses and locations in the US, and aligning recruitment programs with business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3–5 years talent acquisition or related experience.
  • Campus or university recruiting, outreach, or relations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute early career recruitment strategies across the division and plan campus engagements.
  • Serve as the central hub for early career engagement activities and processes.
  • Manage internship and rotational programs to attract early career talent.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote outreach and evaluate programs.

What you will do:
  • Responsible for the execution of comprehensive early career recruitment strategies across the Division through identifying and prioritizing target university and college engagements, plan and execute campus recruitment events.
  • Serve as the central hub for all early career engagement activities, driving discipline processes, ensuring consistency and maximum impact.
  • Manage the front-end of internship & rotational programs aimed at attracting and engaging early career talent.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define opportunities, promote outreach, manage early career recruitment, and oversee program evaluation and improvement.
  • Design and implement innovative initiatives to engage early career candidates.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with early career candidates and campus career centers, faculty members, student organizations through proactive outreach and engagement to enhance recruitment efforts and access top talent pools.
  • Serve as an external face of the company, amplifying visibility, shaping reputation, and directly influencing candidate experiences.
  • May travel up to 40% to campuses and company locations in the US.
What you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Additional years of experience considered in lieu of degree
  • 3-5 years talent acquisition or related experience
  • Campus or university recruiting, outreach, or relations experience strongly preferred
Skills, Experience & Abilities
  • Knowledge of/familiarity with applicable employment laws pertaining to employment/interviewing/hiring (EEO, AA, ADA, etc.)
  • Experienced in internet-based searches to include job boards, internet data mining, and social media. Technical competency with recruiting including sourcing, interviewing and candidate assessment.
  • Read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking system
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office application.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
