Job summary

Lakeshore Technical College is seeking a Campus Support Specialist to serve as the initial customer service contact for a designated location. You will guide students through recruitment, advising, financial aid, and registration processes, working with Lakeshore staff to remove barriers to enrollment.

Responsibilities include assisting with billing questions, processing admissions steps, and providing exceptional service to students and external partners. Evening events may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and systems.
• Two to three years of relevant occupational experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for the assigned location with superior customer service.
• Access database systems and refer students as needed.
• Answer the phone promptly and route calls appropriately.
• Schedule and check-in appointments for Student Affairs team members.
• Support campus events, coordinating with internal and external partners.
• Order and maintain office supplies for the Student Share area.
• Cultivate relationships with partner organizations to advance goals.
