Huntley Community School District 158 is hiring a Paraprofessional - Program Aide to assist students with special needs during their school day. This full-time position requires an ELS Paraprofessional license or Professional Educator License (PEL), alongside strong communication and basic office skills.
You will ensure the safety and success of each student in meeting their IEP goals while following a strict daily schedule. A competitive pay range of $18.03 to $19.28 per hour is offered, along with additional stipends for specific assignments.

STARTING DATE: 2026 / 2027 School Year
WORK HOURS: 10 Months / Full-Time
RANGE OF PAY: $18.03- $19.28 / Hour. Additional stipends available based upon assignment

Assist student(s) with special needs throughout the day with academics and daily school routines. Will assist the student(s) in following a strict schedule and maintaining his/her safety while school is in session. Support the students and teacher to ensure success of each student in meeting his/her IEP goals. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
MUST hold an ELS (Paraprofessional) license or Professional Educator License (PEL). Good written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of staff, parents and students. Basic math and computer skills as well as some general office skills are needed.
