Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators is seeking an organized individual to assist in enforcing school handbook rules, supervise the In-School Suspension room, and monitor students in various locations during school hours.

You will work with the Deans daily, support the campus security team in emergency response and drills, and help day-to-day tasks across the school as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, parents and students.
• Calm demeanor and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic math and computer skills such as Google Suite as well as some general office skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in enforcement of school handbook rules.
• Supervise In-School Suspension room.
• Supervise students in locations including the parking lot and throughout the school during school hours.
• Work with the Deans on a daily basis and assist them in their duties.
• Act as support team member on school safety committee.
• Aid in the response to emergency situations and drills as well as assisting various school personnel in day to day tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Supervise students in a variety of locations, including the parking lot, throughout the school during school hours. Work with the Deans on a daily basis and assist them in their duties and act as support team member on school safety committee. As a member of the campus security team, a candidate will aid in the response to emergency situations and drills as well as assisting various school personnel in day to day tasks. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
