Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services at Worcester State College is seeking a full-time Storeroom Attendant to receive, store, and inventory departmental supplies and foodstuffs, while maintaining sanitation in storage areas.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm with a fixed pay rate of $17.95 per hour. Prior receiving experience and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. Online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in receiving.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).

Responsibilities

• Inventories and maintains necessary food and other supplies for the Food Service Department.
• Stores food and supplies in correct containers and storage areas.
• Maintains records and logs of storage temperatures for perishable items.
• Dates, labels, and rotates stock according to oldest product first.
• Orders food and supplies per established company protocols.
• Secures designated areas to safeguard associates and follows security procedures.
• Transports food and supplies ensuring safe delivery.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing supplies.
• Reports needed maintenance or repairs of equipment.
• Completes daily/weekly/monthly reports per corporate policies.
