Job summary

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Temporary Campus Store Team Member to greet customers, help locate materials, and process transactions with care.

This role supports store operations, stocking, inventory, and housekeeping, delivering a friendly, organized shopping experience in a fast-paced campus environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating course materials, school supplies, apparel, gifts, and other merchandise.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor through merchandising and housekeeping.
• Support inventory, receiving merchandise, and other store-wide operational tasks.
