Job summary

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Part Time Campus Store Team Member (Temporary) to join our campus store during peak periods. Deliver welcoming customer service, assist with course materials, apparel, and merchandise, and help create a positive retail experience that supports students, faculty, and alumni.

You will maintain an organized sales floor, operate the cash register, and assist with inventory and stock replenishment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Flexibility to work a temporary schedule based on business needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers with locating course materials, supplies, and merchandise.
• Operate the POS system to process transactions accurately.
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well stocked.
• Help with inventory, receiving merchandise, and order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily priorities in a fast-paced setting.
