Job summary

Barnes & Noble College seeks a Department Manager to lead the daily operations of an assigned department within a campus store, delivering exceptional customer service, coaching team members, and driving sales performance.

You will manage merchandising, inventory control, visual presentation, scheduling, and training, while partnering with store leadership, campus partners, and corporate teams to execute initiatives and ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with merchandising, store operations, and sales performance.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
