Job summary

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a temporary Campus Store Team Member to deliver an exceptional retail experience on campus. You will greet customers, help locate materials, operate the POS system, and keep the sales floor neat and stocked while supporting inventory and daily operations.

This temporary role offers varied hours, a chance to gain valuable retail experience, and eligibility for employee discounts and other benefits. Flexible scheduling may be required to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule for temporary assignments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experience by greeting customers and answering questions.
• Assist customers in locating materials and merchandise across campus store.
• Operate point-of-sale system including cash, credit, and financial aid purchases.
• Maintain clean, organized sales floor with shelves stocked.
• Support inventory, receiving, and other daily operations.
