Barnes & Noble College seeks a temporary Campus Store Team Member to help create welcoming retail experiences that engage students, support faculty, and build alumni loyalty. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and operational excellence on a vibrant campus store floor.

You will assist customers, operate the POS, maintain shelves, and work with teammates in a fast-paced environment. Temporary assignments offer varied hours and may last up to 90 days.

Competenze

• Minimum age 16 (18 for CA locations).
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Flexible schedule for the temporary assignment.

Mansioni

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating materials, supplies, apparel, gifts and other merchandise.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor through merchandising and replenishment.
• Support daily store operations including inventory, receiving merchandise, and order fulfillment.
• Develop product knowledge to confidently assist customers and upsell where appropriate.
• Collaborate with teammates to achieve daily priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment reflecting the Barnes & Noble College brand.
