Job summary

Barnes & Noble College’s Newark campus store is looking for a Part-Time Campus Store Team Member to deliver exceptional customer service, assist customers with course materials, and maintain an organized, welcoming sales floor.

You will operate the POS, help with inventory, and collaborate with teammates in a fast-paced environment to ensure a top-notch campus store experience for students, faculty, and alumni.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Help locate course materials, apparel, and supplies.
• Operate POS to process transactions.
• Keep sales floor clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist with inventory, receiving merchandise, and order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily priorities.
• Promote store services and promotions.
