Job summary

Follett Corporation invites applicants for an Assistant Store Manager to support store leadership in operations and sales across campus locations. The role supervises sales staff, assists with onboarding, merchandising, cash handling, and inventory, and promotes a high-quality customer experience.

An Associate's Degree or equivalent is preferred; 0–5 years retail experience; general computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
• 0-5 years retail or bookstore experience preferred; prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the work activities of sales team members FT/PT and Temporary.
• Performs onboarding procedures for new hires.
• Greet customers, answer phones, provide information, direct callers, and resolve escalated issues.
• Receive, verify, and unload orders as necessary.
• Operated cash register and store computer to accept payments, place orders, and make changes with safe cash handling procedures.
