Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree; Master’s preferred.
• Texas Teacher Certification in Special Education required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate for appropriate grade levels K-8 or EC-6/4-8.
• Experience in ARD committee processes and IEP goal setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate campus Special Education services as point person.
• Lead and support teachers in delivering IEP-related instruction.
• Participate in ARD committee meetings and ARD-related activities.
• Oversee development and coordination of Special Education Department activities.
• Supervise and mentor staff in alignment with ARD and IEP requirements.
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
