Job summary

Colorado Mountain College—Steamboat Campus is seeking a Campus Community Use Coordinator to maximize room usage, coordinate bookings and support community events. The role includes developing and maintaining a room-usage database, interfacing with campus leadership and internal departments, and coordinating summer conferences to strengthen community partnerships.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years related experience, strong MS Office skills (especially Excel), and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and three years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Degree in a related field and experience in public employment/education preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office; Excel experience; strong written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate meetings, conferences, seminars, tours and visits on campus.
• Handle room setups, catering, AV, parking, internet and reception logistics.
• Review requirements and identify scheduling conflicts; advise supervisor.
• Manage space requests and reservations; provide data sheets and briefings; analyze utilization.
• Oversee building operations including opening/closing and upkeep of inventory.
• Respond to problems; follow protocols for emergencies and visitor needs.
• Register lodging and visitor information; ensure compliance with local requirements.
• Conduct hourly rounds; supervise student staff and incident reporting.
• Support special projects and events; act as point of contact for visitors.
• Coordinate summer conference activities; manage budgets and publicity.
• Other duties as assigned.
