Job summary

Colorado Mountain College is seeking a Campus Community Use Coordinator to maximize room usage and strengthen partnerships at the Steamboat campus. You will drive bookings, manage the room-use database, and coordinate with leadership and departments to support student activities and special events.

You will also schedule and supervise student staff, assist with summer conference coordination, and ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with campus policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Degree in a related field and experience in public employment and/or education preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office including Excel; ability to relate with multiple constituencies; excellent verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment, manage stress, and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and supporting the College’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Support campus planning for meetings, conferences, seminars, demonstrations, tours, and visits.
• Coordinate logistical details for meetings and events (catering, A/V, parking, internet, reception, tours).
• Identify scheduling conflicts and provide recommendations for visits and events.
• Manage space requests and reservations; prepare reports on space utilization.
• Oversee building operations: opening/closing, cleanliness, inventory.”
• Provide safety and compliance with campus policies; coordinate with facilities and budget.
