Job summary

The University of California, Merced seeks a Campus Software Coordinator to lead software management for the Office of Information Technology. You will collaborate with campus stakeholders to streamline procurement, licensing, and vendor contracts, ensuring procurement policies and security standards are met.

You will manage renewals, co-terms, and reporting to guide strategic planning and roadmap development, working with UCOP and system peers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience/training (required).
• Extensive negotiation preparation and vendor performance management experience.
• Experience building/maintaining a campus software catalog or related database with metadata.

Responsibilities

• Vendor management: maintain campus software catalog and vendor relationships.
• License & contract management: manage renewals, provisioning, and reporting.
• Software process, strategy, and relationships: rebuild procurement processes and align with campus stakeholders.
