University Partners is seeking a Social Media Intern to support and elevate content across platforms. You will work with our marketing team and onsite property teams to translate events and resident life into engaging posts for Instagram, TikTok, and more.

This role suits a college student familiar with social media culture, trends, and content creation who enjoys helping others boost their online presence. You will assist with planning, feedback, and campaign support.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled college student in marketing, communications, media, or related field.
• Experience managing personal or business social media accounts with a following or creating content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, etc.)
• Strong understanding of social media trends, tone, and platform best practices.
• Comfortable giving constructive feedback and working with multiple teams.
• Creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with onsite teams to review and provide feedback on their social media accounts.
• Guide onsite teams on content, engagement, and brand consistency best practices.
• Assist with content planning, ideation, and execution for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
• Identify trends and content styles relevant to college students and student housing.
• Create original content or templates that onsite teams can replicate easily.
• Support campaign launches, events, and promotions via social media.
• Monitor performance and engagement and share insights or recommendations.
