Job summary

Bank of China Limited, New York Branch is seeking a lending professional to support post lending, customer service and underwriting for SME and corporate loan products. You will analyze loans and present recommendations to meet objectives.

Responsibilities include business development, credit control and compliance, and handling post-lending questions, with collaboration across teams. A bachelor’s degree and bilingual Mandarin/English are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; majors in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge of due diligence, regulatory compliance, credit analysis, CRE and product knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
• Bilingual ability in Mandarin and English highly preferred.
• Internship experience in SME and corporate lending within Banking.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite loan opportunities and support SME development strategies.
• Prepare CRR and monitor loan on a timely basis.
• Prepare annual reviews, credit memos, site visits and reports.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, BSA/KYC and compliance teams.
• Negotiate loan documentation and arrange closing.
• Respond to customer inquiries and maintain ongoing communication.
