Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience, leadership skills, and culinary experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure that job expectations are met per policy and procedure.
• Provide training and create work schedules for staff.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, and address underperformance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and monitor quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as a contact person for employees regarding complaints or time-off requests.
• Mentor employees and encourage career growth within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
