Job summary

Concordia College in Moorhead is seeking a Service Plumber to perform maintenance and repair of campus plumbing systems, keeping them in operable, reliable condition across more than 30 buildings. You will join a Facilities team that values craftsmanship, tackling projects from water mains and sewer mains to fixtures, water heaters, drains and roof drainage, with on-call duties a few times a year.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Journeyman license or ability to acquire within 6 months.
• Competent computer usage.
• Two years trade/tech college degree in related field.
• Service plumbing experience.
• Proven apprentice leadership & mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the mission and vision of Concordia College and demonstrate the competencies defined for this position.
• Work under the supervision of the plumbing department with primary responsibility for maintenance and repair or replacement of campus plumbing systems (water mains, sewer mains, fixtures, water heaters, drains, etc.).
• Provide care and security of all tools and plumbing equipment; assist coordinating with Welder and Kitchen tech for repairs.
• Maintain availability for call back to perform emergency or critical repairs (on-call approx. 3–4 times a year, report within 30 minutes of notification).
