Job summary

Augusta University is seeking a Plumber 2 to repair, install, and maintain campus water and sanitary sewer systems across buildings. You will lead small project crews, coordinate with facilities teams, and ensure safe, compliant operation of plumbing infrastructure.

The role requires 3+ years of experience or an associate degree, plus a valid driver’s license. On-call rotation may be required; the position is on-site with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 3+ years of experience, or an Associate degree.
• Valid driver's license.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, installs, and replaces water and sanitary sewer piping, fittings, fixtures, valves, pumps, strainers, backflow preventers, boilers, hot water heaters, and water supply lines to equipment and appliances interior to campus buildings.
• Repairs, installs, and replaces exterior water distribution and storm sewer lines and related infrastructure across campus.
• Leads small project crews and trains lower level plumbers.
• Responds to work orders and communicates status to supervisor.
