Job summary

Weber State University’s Davis Campus is seeking a part-time Service Specialist to serve at the campus information desks. You will provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff and visitors, assist with daily campus operations, and support event setup and takedown.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and preference is given to candidates with at least 6 months paid work experience, strong communication skills, and comfort with basic computer software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months paid work experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills and ability to learn new software programs.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact at campus information desks for students, faculty, staff and visitors.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist with daily campus operations.
• Support event setup and takedown.
• Provide referrals and assistance with basic technical needs for classrooms and events.
• Willingness to work during regular building hours, including Saturdays.
