Job summary

Weber State University’s Davis Campus is seeking a part-time Service Specialist to serve at the campus information desks. You will provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff and visitors, assist with daily campus operations, and support event setup and takedown.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and preference is given to candidates with at least 6 months paid work experience, strong communication skills, and comfort with basic computer software.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to work during regular building hours, including Saturdays.

Job Summary/Basic Function

The Davis Campus Service Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors at the campus information desks. This position delivers exceptional customer service, assists with daily campus operations, supports event set up and take down, provides referrals, and assists with basic technical assistance for classrooms and events. This position is part-time, working approximately 20 hours per week. Applicants must be willing to work any time during regular building hours including Saturdays. Occasional additional weekend hours may be required for off-campus events. Available for both students and non-students.
