Weber State University is seeking a part-time Davis Campus Service Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact at campus information desks. You will deliver excellent customer service, assist with daily operations, support event setup and takedown, and provide referrals and basic tech assistance for classrooms and events.

The role is 20 hours per week, with shifts during mornings, mid-days, and alternating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional front-desk customer service to students, staff and visitors.

  • Provide referrals and basic technical assistance for classrooms and events.
  • Respond to inquiries and help direct people to the appropriate resources.

Job Summary/Basic Function

The Davis Campus Service Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors at the campus information desks. This position delivers exceptional customer service, assists with daily campus operations, supports event set up and take down, provides referrals, and assists with basic technical assistance for classrooms and events. This position is part‑time, working approximately 20 hours per week. Applicants must be willing to work any time during regular building hours including Saturdays. Occasional additional weekend hours may be required for off‑campus events. Available for both students and non‑students.

Due to the Affordable Care Act ( ACA ), individuals who have worked in a salaried capacity for Weber State University are ineligible to be hired as an hourly or adjunct employee at Weber State for six months.
