Job summary

Lansing Community College is seeking a FT Professional Support - Security Guard to provide access security for the Downtown and West Campus. You will enforce security protocols, check identifications, and report suspicious activities while delivering high-quality customer service to the campus community.

Regular on-campus presence is expected, with possible hybrid schedules as approved. Applicants must be residents of Michigan and pass a background check as part of the process.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or have equivalent GED.
• Valid driver’s license with less than 6 points.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide access security to Lansing Community College’s Downtown and West Campus.
• Enforce security protocols, check identification, and report suspicious activities observed.
• Maintain a high level of situational awareness and assist with door security for events when needed.
