Job summary

Premier Security Solutions is seeking an Armed Security Officer (Current/Retired Law Enforcement) to protect students, staff and visitors at Lansing educational sites. The role is on-site, requiring vigilance and professional conduct to deter threats and maintain a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access, incident response, reporting, and adherence to Use of Force SOP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CPL or active/retired Police ID with documentation.
• Valid driver’s license with documentation.
• Must complete continued training/education classes.
• Be able to pass annual firearm qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Protect people, property, and assets on educational or other sites.
• Maintain a visible security presence and respond to incidents.
• Prepare incident reports and coordinate with authorities as needed.
• Follow SOPs and site rules; work on-site and adapt to 24/7 operations.
