Job summary

NHTI Concord's Community College is seeking a Campus Safety & Security Officer III for the 3rd shift. The role patrols campus and surrounding areas, enforces laws, and responds to emergencies to ensure a safe college environment.

Ideal candidates have a High school diploma and at least three years in security or law enforcement, with a valid driver's license and CPR/AED certification. This essential role supports student and staff safety and coordination with local authorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of experience in law enforcement or security roles.
• Valid driver’s license required; CPR/AED and basic first aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus and nearby areas to ensure safety and security.
• Enforce college policies and applicable laws on campus property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; cooperate with law enforcement.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies; assist with safety escorts and transports.
• Coordinate with police and fire departments on matters of mutual concern.
• Lock/unlock buildings and distribute ID cards as needed.
• Maintain records and logs related to safety and security activities.
