Job summary

Communities In Schools of the Gulf South, Inc. seeks a qualified counselor or social worker to implement an evidence-based model of integrated student services on the campus of a public school.

The Site Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and coordinating CIS activities and programs on the campus. The Site Coordinator interfaces with campus personnel and coordinates school functions with the CIS program and CIS administration.

Qualifications

• Qualified counselor or social worker with licensure or placement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based CIS model on the campus of a public school.
• Provide assessments, referrals, and counseling or supportive guidance to students.
• Coordinate school functions with the CIS program and CIS administration.
• Connect students with community service providers and resources.
• Supervise staff as assigned by CIS Director.
