Job summary

Communities In Schools of Eastern PA in Allentown is seeking a Site Coordinator to implement the CIS evidence-based student supports model within a school setting. You will collaborate with the principal and leadership team to assess needs, plan supports, monitor outcomes, and report data using CIS tools.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with strong data collection and communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in case management, youth counseling, oral and written communications, advocacy and negotiating, networking and team building, information gathering and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Create an inventory of needs within the school by collecting data from students, families and staff.
• Plan school-wide, group-level and individual supports with administrators to address priorities.
• Establish a School Support Team to coordinate delivery of services.
• Partner with volunteers and community resources to bring services into the school.
• Case manage students at risk of dropout based on attendance, behavior and performance.
