Job summary

Tucson Unified School District is seeking a Supervisory Professional in School Safety to intervene and diffuse potentially volatile situations involving students and the community. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, social sciences, or related field required.
• 2 years supervisory experience required.
• Training in conflict or crisis resolution/mediation with youth.
• Experience in public speaking and strong English verbal/written communication.
• Ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
• Must be willing and able to carry and use all security weapons, to include a firearm.
• Ability to work occasional overtime and extended duty hours for large-scale events.
