Job summary

Tucson Unified School District is seeking a Campus Monitor to help keep district premises safe and secure and to support a positive learning environment at Catalina High School.

Responsibilities include observing student behavior, reporting safety concerns, and ensuring compliance with district policies. This 1.0 FTE position operates on a 12-month calendar, with an 8-hour day and no benefits for part-time (<30 hours) assignments. Preferred candidates have youth experience, conflict-resolution skills, and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Two years experience working with 12-18 year old youth.
• Working knowledge in the area of conflict resolution/mediation.
• Clear written and verbal English communication; ability to read and comprehend instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure district premises are safe and secure.
• Monitor the behavior of students on district campuses.
• Maintain order and ensure district and school policies, rules and regulations are adhered to.
