Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists students for safe access to/from location.
• Communicates safety policies to students, staff and visitors.
• Maintains job-related equipment (e.g. stop sign, jacket, sand bags, flag).
• Monitors students in classroom, playground, library, lunchroom, bus loading/unloading.
• Monitors student behavior entering/exiting school grounds.
• Refers incidents to appropriate site personnel.
• Reports observations to instructional and/or administrative personnel.
• Responds to inquiries from students and parents regarding campus security.
• Supports classroom teachers and other staff to ensure a safe learning environment.

Education
