Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. in North Grafton, MA seeks a full-time Safety & Security Specialist to ensure a safe living and working environment for students and staff. You will assist in investigations of accidents and incidents with the goal of reducing future occurrences.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety guidelines, conducting routine inspections, monitoring center facilities, responding to emergencies, and supervising students to maintain security and cleanliness of center properties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Prefer Job Corps or related program experience.
• Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow integrity guidelines and ensure no manipulation of student data.
• Assist Safety & Security Department to maintain a safe Center environment.
• Investigate accidents/incidents under management direction and prepare reports.
• Conduct routine safety inspections of Center equipment and facilities to identify hazards.
• Enforce occupational safety and health regulations and standards.
• Conduct and document incident investigations per timelines and requirements.
• Provide Center-wide security tours and supervise students.
• Respond to emergencies and requests.
• Maintain Center security, visitor control and student accountability.
• Assist dorm staff with inspections and searches for contraband.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Advanced degrees preferred

Job Corps or related program experience preferred

In-State Driver’s License
