Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks a Safety and Security Associate to maintain a safe living and working environment for students and staff at the Center in Drums, PA.

You will assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents with the goal of resolution and reduction of future occurrences. Responsibilities include following integrity guidelines, conducting routine safety inspections, enforcing safety standards, responding to emergencies, supervising students, and coordinating with dorm staff

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Prefer Job Corps or related program experience.
• Must possess a valid in-State Driver's License.
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing.

Responsibilities

• Follows integrity guidelines and protects student data.
• Assists Safety & Security to maintain a safe Center environment.
• Investigates accidents/incidents under management direction and reports findings.
• Conducts routine safety inspections and identifies hazards.
• Enforces occupational safety and health regulations and standards.
• Performs center-wide security tours and supervises students.
• Responds to emergencies and requests.
• Manages Center security, visitor control and student accountability.
• May assist dorm staff with inspections and searches for contraband.
