Job summary

Adams and Associates in Massachusetts seeks a Security Supervisor to provide a safe living and working environment for students and staff. You will assist in investigating accidents and incidents to resolve issues and reduce recurrence.

The role includes enforcing safety standards, conducting routine inspections, coordinating with the Safety & Security Department, and guiding dorm and center operations to ensure accountability and security.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.
• Experience with Job Corps or related program preferred.
• Physical capability to lift 40 pounds; ability to assess lift needs.

Responsibilities

• Follows integrity guidelines and protects student data.
• Assists Safety & Security Department to maintain a safe Center environment.
• Investigates accidents/incidents and prepares reports with corrective actions.
• Performs routine safety inspections of Center equipment and facilities.
• Enforces occupational safety and health regulations and standards.
• Documents incident investigations within required timelines.
• Conducts Center-wide security tours and supervises students.
• Responds to emergencies and requests; ensures center security and visitor control.
• May assist dorm staff with inspections and searches for contraband.
• Maintains security and cleanliness of Center facilities and property.
• Provides residential, recreation and transportation assistance as required.
• Maintains attendance, accountability and productivity standards.
• Plans, prioritizes and organizes assignments to meet goals.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Advanced degrees preferred

Valid in-State Driver's License

Insurability requirements as per policy

Job Corps or related program experience preferred
