Job summary

Phillips Academy Andover seeks a full-time Campus Safety Officer. The role provides safety services to the campus community, enhancing student and staff security and campus property protection.

The position features a four 10-hour shift schedule (Sunday–Thursday, 11pm–9am) totaling 40 hours per week, with shift differentials applied for night and evening hours. Equal opportunity employer with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Experience in an institutional or campus setting preferred.
• Experience working with adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must successfully complete CPR/AED training.
• Must successfully complete Campus Safety Field Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety services that assist the campus community in maintaining order and security of Academy property.
• Support personal safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Work four 10-hour shifts Sunday through Thursday, 11pm-9am.
