An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Campus Safety Officer to ensure the safety and security of its vibrant campus community. This essential role involves patrolling the grounds, enforcing university policies, and conducting investigations to maintain a secure environment for students and staff. The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, along with relevant experience, and will be committed to upholding safety standards. This position requires working night shifts, including weekends and holidays, and offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming campus atmosphere. SUMMARY: This position is accountable for the safety and security of campus as well as patrol operations and performing investigative duties. This is a night shift position. Three 12-hour shifts per week, 7pm- 7am.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
This position requires an Associate’s degree (A.A) from a two-year college or technical school; one to three years experience (in the field of criminal justice); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Instructions to Applicants: Campus Safety officer positions REQUIRE the ability to work twelve-hour shifts including weekends and holidays. You will be REQUIRED to work an assigned shift rotation with three 12-hour shifts per week and must be available on the days assigned. You will be REQUIRED to attend quarterly firearms training and other annual training as assigned.
