Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years work experience; valid driver’s license; clean driving record; pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot.
• Participate in crime prevention and community policing.
• Respond to routine and emergency calls; take action as needed.
• Write clear, concise, and accurate reports while maintaining confidentiality.
• Inspect Peabody facilities; report conditions.
• Provide escorts and general security services for campus events.
• Work flexible shifts including holidays/weekends.
• Operate cars, radios, phones; may qualify with baton/OC pepper spray.
