Job summary

City Year is seeking a Campus Recruiter in the Bay Area to develop and execute campus recruitment strategies across multiple colleges. You will engage students, alumni, and campus partners, host events, and guide candidates through the AmeriCorps application process.

You will travel within California as needed, build a strong on-campus network, and collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to meet recruitment goals while representing City Year’s national service mission.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or program coordination in education/nonprofit settings.
• Ability to travel within California as needed.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute campus recruitment strategies across designated colleges.
• Build relationships with career services, faculty and student groups.
• Deliver engaging presentations and participate in career fairs.
• Maintain a pipeline of candidates and coach applicants through the process.
• Provide timely updates on recruitment progress and metrics.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth candidate transitions to interviews.
