Job summary

CENTERS, LLC is seeking a Front Desk / Guest Services team member for the University of Recreation & Wellbeing. You will greet members, communicate program details, and conduct tours while maintaining a clean, safe facility.

You will handle payments and reservations, assist staff, and support daily operations with a proactive customer-service approach. The role requires active pursuit of a degree at Cleveland State University, and CPR/AED/FA certification eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be actively seeking a degree at Cleveland State University.
• Ability and willingness to enforce policies and handle conflict.
• Strong customer service skills and basic knowledge of computer skills.
• Ability to handle several tasks at once with frequent interruption.
• Ability to be certified as a CPR/AED/FA Professional Rescuer through the American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Greet all members and guests, enforce policies and procedures.
• Communicate information about University programs and services.
• Provide tours to current and prospective members.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility including lobby, spaces, equipment and restrooms.
• Demonstrate competencies in the department Emergency Action Plan.
• Assist with facility laundry and keep workspace presentable.
• Represent the university at all times; assist staff as needed.
• Handle payments for guest passes and towel services.
• Reserve courts and issue equipment; manage inventory and data entry.
• Attend staff trainings and other duties as assigned.
