Job summary

The Student Union, Inc. is seeking a part-time SRAC Operations Assistant to help manage the Spartan Recreation and Aquatic Center. You will assist with programs, member assistance, and policy enforcement while supporting daily facility operations.

Under supervision of the SRAC Operations Manager, you will help with equipment checkout, cleanliness, safety, and event support within the SRAC facility on campus in San José, CA.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; American Red Cross preferred.
• Must be a matriculated SJSU student enrolled at least half-time during the term.

Responsibilities

• Enforce SRAC policies and procedures.
• Know day-to-day SRAC operations and daily schedule.
• Assist with room and court setup, event prep, and cleanup.
• Conduct hourly room and facility counts.
• Assist patrons with locker lockouts.
• Assist with equipment checkout and inventory.
• Support patron safety and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain a clean, organized facility.
