Job summary

The SJSU Student Union, Inc. seeks a part-time SRAC Operations Assistant to help manage the Spartan Recreation and Aquatic Center. You will enforce policies, assist with daily operations, open/close the facility, and help with equipment checkout and inventory.

Qualifications include current First Aid/CPR/AED certification and enrollment as a half-time SJSU student. Ability to lift 45 pounds and provide excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• First Aid/CPR/AED certification required or preferred (American Red Cross).
• Must be a matriculated SJSU student enrolled at least half-time during term.

Responsibilities

• Enforce SRAC policies and procedures.
• Know day-to-day operations and daily building schedule.
• Assist with room and court setup, breakdown, and event prep.
• Conduct hourly room and facility counts.
• Assist patrons at the equipment desk and with locker lockouts.
• Support night manager with equipment checkout inventory.
• Maintain a clean and organized SRAC environment.
